Explore the bustling capital city of Phnom Penh, where stunning temples and palaces await your discovery. Immerse yourself in the charm of Siem Reap, a town that not only boasts exquisite examples of French colonial architecture but is also renowned for its famous temple complexes.

Itinerary

Day 1: Phnom Penh

Arrive in Phnom Penh. Afternoon tour of Phnom Penh visiting the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda containing the Emerald Buddha statue, the Royal Palace and Phnom Penh’s oldest shrine, Wat Phnom.

Day 2: Phnom Penh (B)

Excursion to Takeo, Lake Tonle Bati and the impressive laterite temple of Ta Prohm, Visit Chisor by speed boat, the 11th-century temple with interesting carvings. Also, visit Phnom Da with four artificial caves built as shrines and Angkor Borei.

Day 3: Phnom Penh → Kampong Cham → Kampong Thom (B/L/D)

Drive through the Mekong River basin to Kampong Thom enroute stopping at Skoun with its spider merchants and tour of Kampong Cham popular for colonial-era architecture. Visit a rubber plantation at Chhup and a local market. Visit Wat Nokor Bayon, 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine with a large reclining Buddha.

Day 4: Kampong Thom → Siem Reap (B/L)

Visit important archaeological sites at Sambor PreiKup before driving to Siem Reap enroute stopping at Wat Andri Buddhist Temple.

Day 5: Siem Reap (B)

Explore the ancient city of Angkor visiting Angkor Thom, ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, Royal Palace. Visit the epic Angkor Wat, its extraordinary architecture and bas-reliefs. A spectacular sunset from mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng.

Day 6: Siem Reap (B)

Full day tour visiting Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre Temples. Also visit the three-tiered temple hill of Pre Rup, BanteyKdei, Lake of Srah Sran and the impressive Ta Prohm Temple.

Day 7: Siem Reap (B)

Transfer to the airport.
