About this journey

This tour is a true introduction to the culture and history of Southern Philippines and will take you to the country’s most popular sights. This part is famous for its incredible scenery and vibrant culture among other natural marvels. Commencing with its capital city Manila, Proceed to Puerto Princesa which is well known for its crocodile farms and underground river. Lastly, enjoy your time relaxing at the beach at El Nido.

Itinerary

Day 1: Manila

Arrive in Manila.

Day 2: Manila (B)

City tour of Old and New Manila. Manila City, being the old district of Metro Manila, keeps the historical and cultural values. It is also a place for modern leisure and business with its world-class malls, entertainment venues for big events, conventions and meetings, casinos, golf course and lively nightlife. Visit Rizal Park, the walled city of Intramuros and tour Fort Santiago. Proceed to San Agustin Church, Makati the financial and commercial district.

Day 3: Manila – Puerto Princesa (B)

Take a short flight to Puerto Princesa. Afternoon tour of Palawan including a visit to the crocodile farm, which has different species and habitat of this mammal, the city market, the museum, the cathedral and the butterfly farm.

Day 4: Puerto Princesa; underground river excursion (B/L)

Leave for Sabang for tour of St. Paul Underground Rivercruise. Take or board a paddle boat going into the wondrous “Underground River” and see the amazing rock formations, with glittering stalactites and stones rising from the water.

Day 5: Puerto Princesa – El Nido (B)

Transfer to El Nido. Arrive and transfer to the resort by boat.

Day 6 – 9: El Nido (B)

Day at leisure.

Day 10: El Nido – Manila (B)

Transfer to the airport for flight back to Manila.
